Job Title:Technical Lead - C++ / VB 6.0
Basic Criteria
B. Tech/ M. Tech/ B.E/ M.E/MCA/M. Sc in Computer Science or a related field.
Experience in developing applications using C++, VB 6.0, C#, SQL Server, XML/ XSLT/XPATH, DTD/Schema. Exposure to Jaguar .NET Web Application, and .Net and VC++ is a plus.
Experience developing data-driven applications using an industry standard RDBMS (Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, MySQL, etc.), including strong data architecture and SQL development skills.
Experience in Unix/Linux Red hat based development environment.
ystem Analysis, designing, coding, development and implementation of applications.
Experience /familiarity with Financial Services Industry - US Banking, loan origination, deposit transactions, lending -consumer and commercial. Product development and Maintenance experience a plus.
Knowledge and understanding of: SourceSafe / SourceOffSite/ Rational ClearCase / MultiSite / ClearQuest Administration x Experience with InstallShield a plus.
Experience Range
4.5 years to 7 years
Key Responsibilities
Developing and conducting code reviews.
Contribute towards architecture definition, estimation and planning of the project.
Participate in customer interaction, code review and follow-up.
Build and execute release management plan for the respective modules.
Evangelize best design and coding practices and provide technical guidance.
Take ownership of the delivery, timeliness and quality of the module assigned.
Acquire complete understanding of software development processes.
Mentor and manage team members, by giving constant on the job feedback and by providing guidance.
